A numerical model is essential for the study of tensegrity systems folding, since complex behaviours like non-interpenetration of solids and unilateral rigidity of cables must be taken into account. A numerical model is presented, it is based on a dynamical formulation and uses an Event driven like method to treat unilateral contact between rigid bodies; this method consists in identifying time intervals over which the status of the various contacts remain unchanged.
