A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
We consider here the design of a building's communication and control system based on an interaction with its human occupants. This is considered as a complimentary intelligent system in which the building and human occupants are aware of the abilities of each other and act accordingly to maximize the performance. This requires knowledge in the building on the human's whereabouts and hence some tracking, monitoring and neural communication schemes are considered. The possibility of a building having its own biological brain is also considered.
