A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
How should we revive the centres of our cities? Does Covent Garden show how it should be done? These seem to be simple, practical questions. But they also raise fundamental issues about alternative paths of urban development. We present three perspectives on these questions and issues: from Trevor Osborne, a property developer and Chair of the Urban Village Group; from Nicholas Falk, Director of the Urban and Economic Development group; and from Michael Franks, a planner and urban entrepreneur, Chair of the Regeneration Trust, Clerkenwell.
