World Expo 88 will provide Australia with the country's major focal point during its bicentennial celebrations for six months from opening on 30 April 1988 through to the closing ceremony on 30 October 1988. During this six months, visitors to World Expo 88 will experience at first hand, the culture of at least 30 nations, with twenty corporate pavilions in addition to a continuous cavalcade of entertainment, day and night parades, rides, laser and firework displays.
