A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The author, a Danish architect and quantity surveyor, is known internationally for his work in the development of CBC (Coordinated Building Communication), described as a logical extension of SfB for computer-based contract documentation. His philosophy is that consistency in the presentation of data is the most important requirement for the full collaboration of the various parties in the building team, and the present article discusses the development of an integrated computer system for the administration of building and civil engineering projects.
