Experimental Investigations of Sound Transmission in Cavity Ferrocement Panels with Ties
Ferrocement panels are employed in various low cost housing construction in developing countries. This study focuses on the sound transmission performance of cavity ferrocement panels consisting of double triangle ties. In this study panels have been cast and tested in transmission loss suite specially designed and constructed. The sound reduction index (SRI) has been reported for cavity ferrocement panel with ties.
