The Han River Renaissance: Prospects and Tasks for the Improvement of the Waterfront View of The Han River
This paper aims to find out how to recover the innate nature and history of the Han River and enable the citizens if Seoul greater access to it. In order to achieve the goals, new approaches would be needed in terms of the recovery and creation of the landscape of the waterfront view of the Han River. As a result of this paper, those methods could mean the maintenance of the functions of the cities adjacent to the river, the creation of public access, reformation of landscape of cities and mountains surrounding the river and new design methodology for a distinctive waterfront landscape.
