The Crozet bridge allows crossing, with an arc structure, a small valley and the RN 75 national road. The supports of the structure are very sensitive to realize because of the huge horizontal force and the small displacement tolerance. The low mechanical characteristics foreseen lead to a special geotechnical campaign. The foundation calculus was made by CESAR-LCPC program to find the support rigidity. The complete computation of the bridge was made with the calculated support rigidity, which allows to find displacements on the arcs lower than the tolerance. The bridge is located in IB seismic area and the design takes into account the maximum foreseeable magnitude, and the soil around the foundation is checked along liquefaction risk.
