Measurement of brickwork and blockwork productivity: Part A
In part A the authors describe the field data collection performed using Activity Sampling and explain the principles of calculation, basic times, standard times, placing times, operative factors, gang factors, site factors and balancing of gang sizes. The research demonstrates that it is possible to obtain basic and standard times for fairly complex operations and present these in the form of standard equations.
