Etude de l'arrachement de renforts synthétiques dans une matrice cimentaire
This work is about the bond of glass AR or carbon yarns with a cementitious matrix for a use as continuous reinforcements of structures out of concrete. Bond tests by bending on 7x7x28 cm specimens have been performed, and have showed, in the case of the carbon yarn, that a part of the filaments, located at the outer of the embedded yarn, adheres to the cementitious matrix, whereas another part of the filaments, located at the inner of the yarn, is not anchored by adhesion with the mortar, but thanks to the presence of loop and to the continuity of the yarn. In the case of the glass yarn, because of the structure in wicks, the filaments of the yarn have all a similar behavior. With these observations, a bond carbon yarn model has been built to quantify the contributions of outer filaments and the one of inner filaments. Moreover, the model allows to approach the post-cracking behavior of specimens tested in four points bending. Finally, an adaptation of the model is proposed to model the wrenching of the glass yarn.
