Bottom roller characteristics in cavity of chute aerators
For the size estimation of the bottom roller, it is crucial to select the control volume (CV) used in the momentum equation and to calculate the velocities entering and leaving the CV. These aspects are taken into account in the present work. A pragmatic method is provided and its accuracy is examined through the comparison with data from previous physical model experiments and other CV analyses.
