    How Designers Use Emergent Shape Semantics of Architectural Drawings in CAAD Systems

    This paper presents a possible use of discovered shape semantics in CAAD systems for architectural design. The importance of the concept of the emergence of shape semantics is emphasized through examples in the architectural design process. The ability of discovery of shape semantics in CAAD systems is demonstrated, and the possible use of the discovered shape semantics in design is suggested.
