ECOLE (evaluation by computer of the learning environment) 3 is the third of an integrated suite of computer programs. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive detailed appraisal of a 3D built-form layout relevant to the scheme design stage. It is concerned with modelling the building geometry and subdividing this geometry into floors and rooms, and is intended to allow the designer to optimize this geometrical form of the building while taking account of factors such as structure, construction, planning, environment and costs.
