Computerized retrieval and assignment of fire fighting water sources for responding fire companies
In recent years, city disasters are becoming more complex, horrible and tragic as life styles and structures in urban area have changed to be complicated. To cope with these situations, Computer-Aided Fire Fighting Command and Control System has been introduced to Osaka Municipal Fire Department. This paper describes the key functions of the system to develop fire fighting activities more effectively in a gigantic, urbanized city.
