Agricultural and construction vehicle electronics
The continuing development of electronic technologies demonstrating extensive computational capabilities and larger memory capacities provides both an attraction and a dynamic driving force to explore their application to construction and agricultural vehicles. Construction and agricultural vehicles are highly engineered machines designed to perform functions in an optimum cost-effective and reliable manner. The application of electronics must therefore conform to these same criteria. The mere existence of oustanding electronics devices, even with a low per-function cost, is insufficient cause to apply them to any vehicles whether on-road or off-road.
