Photoelectric reverse osmosis distillation plant
An attempt has been made to develop a distillation unit employing reverse osmosis and a photoelectric generator to actuate the pump. The structure of the unit is described, together with its parameters. Experimental results have been obtained and the operation of individual elements of the unit are analyzed; its drawbacks are determined. It is concluded that further work in this direction is desirable.
