Study of electrical equipment fires
Reviews the principal research work performed at the LCIE (Electrical Industries Central Laboratory) in the field of electrical equipment fires. Using a critical analysis test method cited as an example, some elements for consideration to clarify certain aspects of properties that must be possessed by the test methods are proposed. Finally, a test procedure, in half actual size, undertaken on flat-top arranged cables using a test structure whose design and equipment are as close as possible to representation and phenomena analysis quantification requirements is described.
