On the calculation of heat and mass exchange into the seawater deaerators
Corrosive protection of metal parts of equipment of the installation is very essential during the operation of the thermal desalting plants. Due to it, it is necessary to digas the circulating seawater in this installation. In this case heat deaerators are usually used in order to desorb corrosive gases from the seawater being very effective. Effective acting of deaerators is really determined by organization of heat and mass exchange. From the calculation, requaring surface for liquid and steam phases into mixture deaerators according to the mass transmission is more than that to the heat transmission. However in practice the designing of the heat deaerators is usually calculated according to the equations of heat transformation but not to the mass exchange.
