Welded stainlesss steel castings - a unique building application
Bush Lane House is one of few building structures in the world which makes extensive use of steel castings and whose particular characteristic is the use of any type of stainless steel for the major supporting structure. This paper presents the technical considerations which led to the use of cast stainless steel for constructing the external lattic and discusses the welding and quality control aspects of its fabrication.
