Discharge relation for 90 deg - Triangular broad-crested weir
A discharge relation for 90 deg-triangular broad-crested weir has been obtained taking into account the effects of viscosity, surface tension and curvature of flow profile on the discharge. The proposed relation has been verified using the available experiment al data. The predicted values of discharge-using the proposed relation - were found to be in good agreement with the measured ones. The difference was found to be generally less than four percent.
