Arc welding robot with maximum flexibility for large steel construction
A totally integrated arc welding robot for large steel constructions, has a wider operation range, narrower space accessibility and intelligent function are essential. The robot has six axes articulated arm on a two-dimensional traverse unit. A sophisticated algorithm has been developed to give the maximum operation flexibility to the welding torch controlling eight axes simultaneously. The intelligent function using arc weaving sensor and wire touch sensor can compensate for misalignment or inaccuracy of workpieces. The program editor for large workpiece system is available and welding macro instructions make the programming simple and easy.
