Properties and applications of magnesia-phosphate cement mortar for rapid repair of concrete
Magnesia-phosphate cement (MPB) was prepared by mixing MgO powder (M) with NH4H2PO4 powder (P) and Na2B4O7 dot 10H2O powder (B). In field applications, MPB mortar is usually used for rapid repair. Effects of many parameters, such as sand/MPB ratio, water/MPB (W/MPB) ratio, kind of sand, fly ash replacement of MPB, specimen volume, temperature and moisture on mechanical properties, and fluidity of MPB mortar were investigated in this paper. Some systematic information on the various field applications of MPB mortar was also discussed.
