A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The technological advancements in flue gas desulfurization (FGD) scrubber systems have provided reduced costs and much improved performance and efficiency. Limestone is the most commonly used FGD scrubber due to its easy availability and relatively low cost. Limestone used in wet or spray dried scrubbers is able to remove 95%-99% of the sulfur in the flue gas.
