Surface phenomena in aqueous inorganic systems with plasticizer content
This paper presents information about the adsorption of some plasticizer admixtures like calcium lignosulphonate, melamine sulphonate formaldehyde and naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde condensates in cement - water disperse systems, cement having different mineral compositions. We discuss the electrokinetic potential of related inorganic liant suspensions as well. The experimental determinations showed an important effect of the aluminate and ferrite aluminate phases of the cement for the adsorption of all considered plasticizers. The intensity of phenomenon decrease in the same time with the diminution of cement content in 1C3A+C4AF. The adsorption capacity of considered plasticizers decreases in the FLUBET --> VIMC --> LSC series in correlation with theirs compositional and structural characteristics.
