Modernizacja ukladu jezdnego koparek SRs 1200 eksploatowanych w kopalniach wegla brunatnego

To improve the SRs 1200 excavator driving system, a 1:30 scale model was built and tested under changing operational conditions (start up, straight forward riding, cornering, braking). Operational parameters of the excavator model were selected close to the original ones (about 1:1000, masses 1.245 t and 1128 t, respectively), ground contact surface (1186 cm² and 107.4 m², respectively), motor power (90 W and 90 kW, respectively) and motor speed (980/min in both cases) except for the rotational speed after gear (1.7/min and 0.7/min, respectively) and motion velocity (0.2 m/min and 6 m/min, respectively). The test results were used for a substantial modernization of the track chain drives and programming the drive controller.
