Badanie mozliwosci wykorzystania niskocynkowych pylow stalowniczych w produkcji klinkieru cementowego
Technical principles and results of industrial scale trials concerning the use of steelmaking dusts as the iron-bearing material in production of cement clinker by the dry and wet method are presented including effects on operation of the rotary kiln, quality of the cement clinker and atmospheric pollution. Additions of the dust in amounts of 9.5 or 8 kg per tonne of clinker in the wet or dry method, respectively, had no harmful effects of the quality of the cement and did no interfere during operation of the kiln. Such use of steelmaking dusts containing more than 35 % iron and about 10 % zinc is environmentally safe and does not cause any additional air pollution. (VDEh)
