Investigation on pozzolanic effect of perlite powder in concrete
The pozzolanic effect of perlite powder in concretes was investigated. The specific strength indices like specific strength ratio (R), index od specific strength (K), and contribution percentage of pozzolanic effects to strength were analyzed. It was found that natural perlite powder had a high pozzolanic effect and was good active mineral admixture for concrete.
