The fire door based on lignocellulose-vermiculite composite
The paper presents the INF technology for the manufacture of fire barrier composite based on exfoliated vermiculite and liquid binding agents being a polycondensation product of urea polyborates and polyphosphates as well as silicates of the first group metals. The technology of the product manufacture is an INF know-how No. 368. Physico-mechanical parameters of fire barrier composites developed as well as results of flammability tests performed on a cone calorimeter Cone 2, equipped with a gas analyzer for IR-absorbing gases (CO-CO2), according to ISO 5660 in a heat flux of 75 kW/m 2. The test duration was 3600 s. The directions of modification of testing methods and the examples of fireproofed board construction using the fire retardant filling materials have been presented.
