Overhead presentation: This contribution describes the construction and environmental aspects of the Inland Revenue Amenity Building, an example of textile architecture that was built in Nottingham (GB) in 1995. The fabric membrane enclosure is characterized by great temperature differences developing in the course of the day and in the course of the year. The temperature fields were monitored using an infrared camera, thermocouple temperature sensors and a pyranometer. Temperature-time curves were recorded. They are shown for a typical summer day and a typical winter day. A seasonal comparison of the temperatures in the building is carried out.
