Ensayo sobre endurecimiento de adhesivos estructurales sometidos a cargas dinamicas
Carbon fibre reinforced polymers are increasingly replacing the steel reinforcing systems in the repair and strengthening of concrete structures thanks to their high strength/weight and stiffness/ weight ratios, corrosion resistance, lightweight, and ease of handling and application. This paper presents a study on the behaviour of bridge concrete beams strengthened with CFRP sheets when the strengthening is made when traffic is acting so that the structure is subjected to dynamic loads while the adhesive is still fresh. No reduction in the effectiveness of the strengthening was observed in the tests.
