Ocena przydatnosci surowcow roslinnych do komponowania ekologicznych olejow formierskich
Refined rapeseed oil, rapeseed fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and their blends were optionally stabilized with the silimarine antioxidant and used as biodegradable antiadhesive oils for formworks in making concrete elemnts in the building engineering. The oils were tested for chemical stability during thermooxidation, kinematic viscosity at 40 deg C, acid number, flow temperature, corrosivity (Ford and Herbert tests), corrosion protection capacity (humidity chamber) and biodegradability (chemical oxygen demand after 21 days and hydrocarbon loss in sevage after 7 and 21 days). FAME and the stabilized FAME-based blends were found suitable as formwork antiadhesives. They showed biodegradation degree 82% and a decrease in chemical oxygen demand 73% after 21 days. No corrosion of the formwork was observed. The surfaces of both the steel formwork and aggregate and cellular concrete elements showed a satisfactory quality after use of the selected former oils.
