Fuzzy-logic-based definition of stress-strain curve of hardening concrete
This contribution presents a new method for definition of a material model for hardening concrete which is based on fuzzy logic. The stress-strain diagrams of hardening concrete are changing rapidly with the progressing hydration reaction, which is often difficult to describe with an analytical prescription due to various influencing factors. The fuzzy logic approach proves here very useful and robust enough to include various influencing factors, such as air temperature and mix proportions. The contribution explains the method of defining a material model and its applicability is shown in an example.
