Reliability testing of concrete using acoustic emission Weibull distribution analysis
Fracture mechanism of concrete is quantified that it is useful when a safety design and the dismantlement of structure. Acoustic Emission (AE) measurement is well known as method to investigate fracture mechanism of concrete. Rate process is utilized in formulation of acoustic emission generation behaviour. Weibull distribution is utilized in reliable analysis. Weibull distribution is modelling of probability of defect in products. Therefore it is able to be applied to acoustic emission generation behaviour according to stress or strain level in compression test of concrete. In this research the quality of concrete can be evaluated by 'm' value of Weibull distribution analysis. Acoustic Emission measurement and strain measurement ware practiced in compression test of concrete. Rate process analysis and Weibull distribution analysis to stress ware practiced. It proved that there is a possibility that quality of concrete is able to be evaluated by Weibull distribution.
