Einschätzung der Korrosionsgefährdung erdverlegter Wasserleitungen
The assessment of the corrosion risks for buried water pipes is a complex task and usually requires the adoption of combination of several investigation methods; in many cases, however, it takes further additional information for the interpretation of the results. After a short overview of the corrosion mechanisms in soil possible investigation methods are presented and the results are illustrated on the basis of two examples. They can be used both for the identification of piping sections with low or high corrosion risks and as basis for the implementation of preventive measures for the extension of the service life.
