Investigation of Environment of Residential Districts “Zhongyi.Arkadia” in Zhengdong New Zone of Zhengzhou City in China
Through the investigation of landscape of “Zhongyi.Arkadia” in Zhengdong New Zone of Zhengzhou City, characteristics of its landscape environment had been summarized. The plants pattern, the square the diversified waterscape was the most characteristic landscape in the residential area. Meanwhile, it had found some insufficiencies. It was lack of native characteristic and landscape environments of other areas had been simulated blindly. Waterscape design had overlooked sustainability and overly emphasized artistry. It hoped to provide reference for planning design and construction of landscape environment in newly-built residential areas in other cities based on the investigation and analysis.
