Influence of Silica Fume on the Performance of PALC
The influence of silica fume on the Performance of prepared phosphoaluminate cement (PALC) was studied and the mechanism was analyzed by XRD and SEM in the paper. The results shows that the addition of 4w/% silica fume is favorable for splitting strength of PALC pastes, which is because high volcanic ash activity and the micro-powder filling dense mechanism brought about by silica fume obviously occur.
