Stability Analysis of Side Slopes under Disasters of Ice and Snow
According to the actual field survey, the degree-day model of snow-melting speed is discussed, seepage force of ground water is considered and the geometrical model for stability analysis on the freeze thawing of frozen-soil side slopes. Using the effective stress approach deduces the stability coefficient when soil slopes is instable due to freeze thawing caused by disasters of ice and snow, various factors affecting security coefficient of side slopes are discussed and the stability of side slopes under different depths of snow is solved.
