Small is tough. Improving the performance of 1K waterborne acrylics for parquet and furniture

1K acrylics for industrial interior wood coatings can be enhanced by advanced colloidal structure and polymer constitution, for example multiphase particle morphology and modern functional monomers. The optimised 1K acrylic binders show significantly improved aesthetic aspects as well as chemical and mechanical resistance, while maintaining cost-efficiency, enabling a higher share of mid- and high-performance level applications. In combination with 1K PUD the optimised 1K acrylics deliver positive synergistic effects and, at the same time, reduced raw material cost of the mixture compared with PUD alone. Most recent legislative requirements like VOC regulations or toxicity rules are easily met.
