Es wurde der Einfluss von Li3PO4 auf den Sinterverlauf von Hydroxylapatitkeramik untersucht. 1,1 Gew.% Li3P4-Zusatz ergab dichtgesintertes Hydroxylapatit bei Sintertemperaturen von 920 und 940C. Das Raumgewicht der so hergestellten Keramik betrug 3,1 g/cm3. Li3PO4-Zusatz beschleunigt auch das Kornwachstum der Hydroxylapatitkeramik.
