Influence of the kiln atmosphere on manganese solid solution in Ca3SiO5 and Ca2SiO4
Der Gehalt von Manganoxid in Portlandzement ueberschreitet selten 0,1-0,2%, jedoch kann er bei Verwendung von Hochofenschlacke bis zu 5% erreichen. Die Grenzen der Substitution von Mangan in Ca3SiO5 und Ca2SiO4 wurden in Luft und in reduzierender Atmosphaere (93% CO2, 7% CO) bei 1350C bestimmt. In Ca3SiO5 wurde in Luft 0,72%, in reduzierender Atmosphaere 2,54% eingebaut. Bei Ca2SiO4 lagen die Grenzwerte bei 1,53% bzw. 2,34%. In Luft wird Si durch Mn(4+) ersetzt, waehrend in CO2/CO-Atmosphaere Mn(2+) isomorph an die Stelle des Ca(2+) tritt. Der Einfluss von Mangan auf die Polymorphie der Silicatphase wurde beschrieben und mit Hilfe der IR-Spektroskopie untersucht.
