The declination of solar radiation is mathematically modelled to define the possible solar energy quantity to heat a village house. The existing village house is than adapted with a glasshouse and the existing walls are implemented as heat accumulators. The existing walls on the north-east and north-west side have been supplementary insulated. A new wall 40 cm thick, built from stone is incomposed as heat accumulator and the first flour is supplementary fenced with great double glassed windows. So supplementary about 100 square m of glassed surfaces are used as solar energy collectors. The additional equipment as ventilating inlets and outlets, and solar shutters have been added. Technical details, dates about solar inclination, energy consumption and generation, costs and economy are given. (Jarc)
