Noise in the cabins of heavy-duty machines
Growing demands for better acoustic conditions in work places caused that the vibration and noise level became an important factor of competitiveness as regards heavy-duty machines. This induced a noticeable raise of interest in researches for reduction of noise and vibration in cabins of heavy-duty machines (HDM). It has been proved, that noise in HDM cabins exceeds levels permitted by the noise standards, both at low and high frequencies. This paper deals with a new method allowing a reduction of only the low-frequency noise, assuming that the methods of noise damping at high frequencies are fairly, well known.
