The fire and explosion resistence characteristics of grains and powder agricultural products is given and classified. Then the most influential factors: abrasivity, hygroscopicity, powder agglomeration, claminess, explosivity are analysed. To minimize the powder particles portion, the filters, usually the sack filters are used. Filter materials properties and characteristics are characterized and the polyester is proposed as the best solution. (Jarc)
