Polyurethane grouting for sealing leakages in tunnels
Waterleakages through rock existed before mankind. And leakages through crack and joints in concrete have been a problem for a long time. When concrete moves, it often cracks. The size of the crack depends on the amount of movement; waterleakages can cause freeze-thaw damage, corrosion, structural weakness, and even failure. Cold weather may bring hazardous ice formations underfoot or overhead. Polyurethane Resins (PUR) have been successfully resolving water-control problems in concrete repair for over 20 years. A wide variety of materials and application procedures are currently being used, depending on the specific results required.
