Roll-forming of coated steel sheets for housing
Deformation characteristics of coated steel strips in roll-forming processes to manufacture components of housing, such as roof decks, floor decks, sidings, panels, beams and reinforcing ribs are explained and causes of defects of products such as longitudinal bow, edge wave, central pocket wave and splitting are discussed. In addition, countermeasures to prevent or eliminate defects of products are proposed. Through systematic discussions, roll-forming technology to manufacture high quality components of housing is clarified.
