To make effective use of the granite aggregate resource, and improve the road properties of the granite-asphalt pavement. Firstly, technical properties of various kinds of granite aggregate were tested; Secondly, conduct the mixture design of asphalt concrete with different fine aggregate and stripping resistant admixture and checking the road performance. Thirdly, the asphalt concrete water stability of different kinds of granite was analyzed with the normal water stability method and Hamburg rutting test. The results showed that granite aggregate has the advantages of high strength and abrasion performance; water stability of granite asphalt mixture can be improved effectively by using limestone fine aggregate; adding hydrated lime or cement can significantly improve the water stability performance of granite asphalt mixture, lime hydrate having the optimal improving effect.
