Improved Model by Grouting Graded Gravel in Subgrade Surface Layer
As the major component of surface layer in subgrade, the frost heave of subgrade is determined the frost heave of graded gravel. The remediation of frost heave of graded gravel by grouting was introduced, the properties of slurry and the actual condition of roadbed, the method of model improvement tests by grouting have been investigated, and the grouting effect of model test was analyzed, the results indicate that: the slurry have been shown well bounding with the graded gravel and the groutability of the slurry met the test requirement. The permeability of graded gravel decreased significantly after grouting, and the permeability of graded gravel could be improved by grouting. The frost heave of graded gravel after improved meet the requirement of passenger dedicated line. The model test of grouting provided an reference to the field grouting test of graded gravel in subgrade.
