Research on the Development of Minority Residential Building – Taking Dai Nationality Buildings in Yunnan Province as an Example
National architecture is the important carrier of national culture. Nowadays in China, in the process of new rural construction, there is a new challenge that how to improve the minority nationality residential building level as well as protect local building characteristics and avoid trend of thousand towns have the same look". In this article, taking Dai nationality building as an example, using research methods like architecture and anthropology, the minority nationality village update mechanism and influence factors are explored in respects of family structure, building development, value orientation and the organization method, then measures are put forward to protect minority village local characteristics. At last, it puts forward that interdisciplinary national architecture research system shall be established which covers humanity, economy, architecture and other courses, to carry forward and develop the varied and colorful national architecture culture in China.
