Research on Strengthening Methods of Traditional Timber Structural Dwellings in Shennongjia Region
Chinese traditional timber structure is the most direct embodiment of splendid building culture, it is always known for good structural integrity and good seismic performance. However, due to the influence caused by the timber structure itself and many factors of the outside world, that often make the structure suffering different degree of destruction after using a period of time. In this article, we through the analysis of general form and cause of the destruction, research on strengthening technologies of traditional timber structural dwellings in Shennongjia region, to provide some ideas and thoughts for people who want to renovate and strengthen traditional timber structural dwellings.
