Highway Construction under Land Restriction and Space Development along Lines -Exemplify by Shandong Province
China has in a stage of rapid development, Land occupation of urbanization is traffic and urban construction, while the contradiction of land resource utilization that brought about by large-scale construction of highway becomes more and more obvious. This paper takes Shandong as an example, shortland resource as the background, analysises the feasibility of large scale construction of highway in the prospect of transportation efficiency and land supply. From regional urban system development, it analysises the important impact of expansion in urban built-up area and space layout, and distribution of GDP-scale, to illustrate the highway construction can bring about the tendency of flatten development in region stronger. It concludes that Shandong should control the moderate scale of highway, improve comprehensive benefit, pay close attention to the development of cities along lines, prevent disordered spread, adopt metropolitan area development strategy, save resources.
